Quite often a steep, hipped roof with flared curves at the eaves is included in this architectural home design. A lot of gables, and a roof that reaches clear down to the windows, typically form part of this style of design. To further enhance the appearance of the exterior, the total outer surface of the home is professionally covered with brick, stone and stucco.

European style luxurious home plans can contain either one or two stories. The main building has an attached garage; it can be used for parking cars or it can simply be a convenient place in which to store the lawn mower and woodworking equipment. These designs are usually made for larger homes. However, smaller size houses can also include many elements that are very popular in the European designs. The wide open floor plan actually gives the impression that the home is much larger than it really is. It also increases the livable space available in dining area, kitchen, and living rooms.

The prominently noticeable thing is the elegant foyers that bring lots of natural lighting into play in order to exhibit a welcoming atmosphere to your friends and family members. The open floor plan permits an easy flow through out the entire house. This way, small houses also give the appearance of having a greater square footage; because of the limited presence of walls.
